Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information SpareHand AI collects through this website, why we collect it, where it goes, and how to get it back or have it deleted. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

SpareHand AI is a trading name of Sri Infra Services Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, NSW.

What we collect

On the general enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the business problem you’re trying to solve, and how you’re hoping to use AI.

On the free workshop application form, we additionally collect your business name, industry, and a description of the task you want help with.

You don’t need an account to use this site, and we don’t ask for payment details through it.

Photos and video at the workshop

We take photographs and video during the free workshop, and we may publish them on this website and on our social media accounts. Images of an identifiable person are personal information, so this is the notice for it: the consent on the application form covers it, and you can withdraw that at any time.

Tell us on the day and we’ll keep you out of shot. If something is already published and you want it taken down, email hello@sparehandai.com.auand we’ll remove it from anything we control.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it, or, for a workshop application, to assess whether your business is a fit for the current cohort and to call you about it. We don’t sell your details, we don’t share them with anyone for their own marketing, and we won’t add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

Where it goes

• Our CRM. Every submission on this site, whether a general enquiry or a free workshop application, is sent to Twenty, our customer relationship management system, so we can track it and follow up. It is not stored in a database we run ourselves.
• Our AI calling assistant. A free workshop application is also sent directly to the third-party service that calls you to discuss it. That call is recorded, so we have an accurate record of what was discussed; you can ask for a person instead of the AI assistant at any point in the call.
• Our hosting provider. This site runs on hosted infrastructure, and standard server logs (including your IP address) are generated when you visit.

Analytics and cookies

We load Google Tag Manager on this site, which allows us to run analytics tags that record things like which pages you visited, roughly where you are, and what browser and device you used. This involves Google processing that information, including outside Australia. We use it to understand which pages are useful, not to identify you personally.

You can block these tags with your browser settings or a content blocker, and the site will still work normally. We also set a cookie when one of us signs in to our own admin area, which is unrelated to visitors.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records while we’re in contact with you and afterwards as part of our business records. If you’d rather we didn’t, ask us and we’ll delete yours, unless we’re legally required to keep it.

Getting a copy, or having it deleted

Email hello@sparehandai.com.auand ask. You can request a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it’s wrong, or ask us to delete it. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and we won’t charge you for it.

Complaints

If you think we’ve mishandled your personal information, tell us first at hello@sparehandai.com.auso we can try to fix it. If you’re not satisfied with how we respond, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
